Southern Railway Apprentice Online Form 2022
Short Details: Southern Railway has recruited 3, 150 posts of apprentices in various trades. These recruitments will be done for many trades including welder, carpenter, painter, turner, and electrician. Notifications have been issued for three units – Carriage and Wagon Workshop Perambur, Central Workshop Ponmalai Trichy, and S & T Workshop Podanur. These vacancies will be in three categories. One category is for candidates who are ordinary 10th pass, the second category is recruitment for those who are ordinary 12th pass and the third category is for ITI diploma certificate holders. These recruitments will be done for various trades including Fitter, Welder, Carpenter, Painter, Turner, and Electrician.

Education Qualification
- Candidates passed 10th Class (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks) under 10 + 2 System of education or its equivalent.
- ITI in Related Trades Such As welder, carpenter, painter, turner, electrician and various trades.

Selection Process & Pay Scale
- Selection Mode: The posts for which only a 10th pass is sought, their merit will be made based on 10th marks, the posts for which 12th pass qualification is sought, and their merit will be based on 12th marks, and posts for which ITI certificate qualification. It has been sought, their merit will be made based on IIT marks.
- Pay Scale: Fresher: 6000/- and ITI & Fresher Inter: 7000/- (Per month).
