The Online Application for seeking admission in Four Year Under Graduate Programme under Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) fothe r session 2025-29 in various Regular courses for Constituent/Government/Affiliated Colleges of Patliputra University, Patna starts from the 29th April 2025.

PPU UG 1st Merit List 2025-29 Released: The Online Application for seeking admission in Four-Year Undergraduate Programme under the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) for session 2025-29 in various Regular courses for Constituent/Government/Affiliated Colleges of Patliputra University, Patna starts from the 29th April 2025.

Patna University 1st Merit List 2025-29 for UG Regular and Vocational, How to Download Admission Letter, Follow the guidelines

Patna University 1st Merit List 2025-29 for UG Regular and Vocational: The first merit list for admission to undergraduate (regular and vocational) courses in various subjects of Patna University will be released today, on 11 June 2025.

Online submission of application forms for admission to the undergraduate programmes of Arts (Honours), Science (Honours), and Commerce (regular and self-financing) (Honours) of 4-year duration under the Choice-Based Credit System (CBCS) will begin on 24 April 2025 and continue until 31 May 2025.

Patna University 1st Merit List 2025-29: Admission to these programmes will be based on the marks obtained by the applicants in the Intermediate or +2 examination. The candidates will complete a separate application form for regular and vocational (self-finance) courses. Admission seeking in regular courses is only based on sports & fine arts quota; the candidate must tick the category and accordingly pay the requisite fee.

Besides, online application forms for the following 3-year undergraduate vocational (self-finance) programmes will also be submitted from 24 April 2025 to 23 May 2025. (a) Bachelor in Computer Application, (b) Bachelor in Business Administration, (c) Bachelor in Mass Communication, (d) Bachelor in Biotechnology, (e) Bachelor in Functional English, (f) Bachelor in Environmental Science. Admission to the above programmes will be taken based on marks obtained by the applicants in the Intermediate or +2 examination.

  • Application fee is Rupees 1100/- for all categories and Rs 50/- for each form.

Education Qualification

For the UG Science Course

Candidates who have passed the I.Sc. or +2 Science Stream only intermediate examination administered by the Bihar School Examination Board, or an examination of a similar nature administered by another recognised National/State Board.

For the UG Commerce Course

Candidates who have passed the I.A./I.Sc./I.Com. intermediate examination, the +2 test, or a comparable examination offered by a recognised national or state board.

For the UG Arts Course

Candidates who have passed the intermediate examination I.A./I.Sc./I.Com or +2 of the Bihar School Examination Board or equivalent examination offered by other approved National/State Boards.

Admission Mode Patna University 1st Merit List 2025-29 for UG Regular and Vocational

Admission to this programme will be based on marks obtained by the applicants in the entrance test to be conducted by Patna University.

दिशा-निर्देश का अनुपालन करें

  1. जिन आवेदकों (छात्र/छात्रा) का नाम मेधा सूची में है वे इसे विश्वविद्यालय के वेवसाइट-www.pup.ac.in पर अपने लॉगइन आई डी एवं पासवर्ड की मदद से देख सकेंगे।
  2. अलॉटमेन्ट लेटर में अंकित नामांकन शुल्क जमा करेंगे।
  3. फी पेमेन्ट के बाद अलॉटमेन्ट लेटर, पेमेन्ट स्लिप एवं आवेदन पत्र डाउनलोड करें।
  4. उपरोक्त तीनों कागजात (अलॉटमेन्ट लेटर, पेमेन्ट स्लिप, आवेदन पत्र) के साथ अपना चार पासपोर्ट साईज फोटो, सभी मूल प्रमाण-पत्र (सभी मूल प्रमाण-पत्र का एक छाया प्रति भी ले जाएँ) सहित अलॉटमेन्ट लेटर में अंकित महाविद्यालय समय पर पहुँच कर नामांकन कराएँ।
  5. यदि किसी छात्र को नामांकन हेतु उनका पसंदीदा विषय नहीं मिला हो तो वैसे छात्र नामांकन करवाने के तुरंत बाद अपने लॉगइन आई डी एवं पासवर्ड की मदद से पोर्टल पर लॉगइन होंगे जहाँ उन्हें अपग्रेडेशन का विकल्प मिलेगा।
  6. अपने अपग्रेडेशन का विकल्प चुनने के पश्चात अगली सूची में सीट उपलब्ध रहने पर अपग्रेडेशन की संभावना रहेगी।
  7. दिनांक 13 जून से 16 जून के बीच प्रथम मेधा सूची में चयनित छात्रों के काउंसेलिंग और नामांकन की प्रक्रिया पूर्ण की जाएगी।
  8. रिक्त सीट पर नामांकन के लिए दूसरी मेधा सूची दिनांक 19 जून 2025 को जारी की जाएगी जिसकी काउंसेलिंग और एडमिशन की प्रक्रिया 21 जून 2025 से 24 जून 2025 के बीच संपन्न होगी।
  9. नामांकन हेतु तीसरी मेधा सूची दिनांक 27 जून 2025 को जारी की जाएगी जिसकी काउंसेलिग और नामांकन की प्रकिया 30 जून 2025 से 1 जुलाई 2025 के बीच संपन्न होगी।
  10. काउंसेलिंग का समय प्रातः 10.00 बजे से शाम 4.00 बजे तक है।
  11. सभी चयनित आवेदकों को निर्धारित तिथि और समयावधि में ही अपना नामांकन करवाना होगा। जो छात्र/छात्राएँ काउंसेलिंग हेतु निर्धारित तिथि एवं समय पर उपस्थित नहीं होंगे अगले राउंड के लिए उनकी दावेदारी स्वतः समाप्त हो जाएगी।
  12. स्नातक कोर्स के सभी विषयों में नामांकित छात्रों का इंडक्शन मीट 2 जुलाई 2025 को उनके महाविद्यालय में आयोजित किया जाएगा।
  13. सभी महाविद्यालय के प्रधानाचार्य प्रतिदिन किए गए validation का प्रतिवेदन प्रो० रजनीश कुमार, नामांकन प्रभारी, को संकायाध्यक्ष कार्यालय में अपराह्न में देंगे।
  14. काउंसेलिंग / नामांकन के लिए सभी प्रधानाचार्यों को लिंक भेजा जाएगा।

    आवेदन की प्रक्रिया

    • आवेदक के द्वारा किसी एक जिले में ही आवेदन किया जा सकता है।
    • ऑनलाईन आवेदन पंचायती राज विभाग के विभागीय वेबसाईट पर उपलब्ध लिंक https://zp.bihar.gov.in पर करना होगा। वेबसाईट पर प्रदर्शित होने वाले कार्यक्रम अनुसार ऑनलाईन आवेदन समर्पित किये जा सकेंगे।
    • आवेदकों द्वारा भरी गयी सूचना ही अंतिम रूप से मान्य होगा तथा उसी के आधार पर Counseling में मूल प्रमाण-पत्र प्रस्तुत किया जाना अनिवार्य होगा। बाद में किसी प्रकार का दावा मान्य नहीं होगा।
    • अभ्यर्थियों द्वारा Online आवेदन में भरी गई सूचना के आधार पर उम्मीदवार की पात्रता / अपात्रता के संबंध में निर्णय लिया जायेगा।
    • Online आवेदन में भरी गई सूचना सत्यापन / Counseling के क्रम में समानता नहीं पाये जाने पर अभ्यर्थितत्व रद्द कर दिया जाएगा।
    • वेबसाइट- https://zp.bihar.gov.in पर उपलब्ध शपथ पत्र को नोटरी से बनाकर अपलोड किया जाना अनिवार्य होगा।
    • अभ्यर्थी आवेदन करते समय आश्वस्त हो लें कि जिस जिले के लिए वह आवेदन कर रहे हैं, उस जिले में रिक्ति है या नहीं। बिना रिक्ति वाले जिले में आवेदन किये जाने की स्थिति में उनकी उम्मीदवारी का कोई भी दावा मान्य नहीं होगा।

    मेधा सूची का निर्धारण

    1. तकनीकी सहायक के पद पर चयन हेतु न्यूनतम् शैक्षणिक योग्यता मान्यता प्राप्त पॉलिटेकनिक से सिविल इंजीनियरिंग में डिप्लोमा होगी। ऑनलाईन आवेदनों के आधार पर डिप्लोमा में प्राप्त अंकों के प्रतिशत के आधार पर मेधा सूची तैयार की जाएगी।
      • कुल रिक्त पदों का आरक्षण कोटिवार 40 प्रतिशत पद राज्य के अधीन सरकारी पॉलिटेकनिक संस्थानों से असैनिक डिप्लोमाधारी उम्मीदवारों के लिए आरक्षित रहेंगे।
    2. मेधा सूची में समान अंक रहने पर अधिक उम्र वाले उम्मीदवार को वरीयता दी जाएगी।
    3. प्रतीक्षा सूची से होने वाली रिक्तियों को अगले एक वर्ष में भरा जा सकेगा।
    4. रिक्तियाँ घट बढ़ सकती है, जिसकी सूचना समय-समय पर विभागीय वेबसाईट पर उपलब्ध करायी जायेगी।

      • The candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree (10+2+3) with at least 50% marks.
      • The Candidates having a Master’s Degree in Science/Social Science/Humanities with at least 55% marks can also apply
      • B.Tech / B.E. degree holders specializing in Maths and Science, and a minimum of 55% marks, can also apply.

    Minimum Qualifying Marks For Bihar B.Ed Result 2025 Out

      • For candidates in the Unreserved Category: 35%, corresponding to 42 marks.
      • For SC, ST, BC, EBC, WBC, and Divyaang Category Candidates: 30% correspondingly 36 marks.

    The Pattern of the Entrance Test

      • Bihar B.Ed Admit Card 2025 -Out: CET-B.Ed.-2023 shall be two hours in duration. Candidates have to answer 120 multiple-choice questions. Each question shall have four expected answers, of which they have to select the most appropriate answer and mark them on the OMR sheet provided along with the Question Booklet. The candidate must use a blue/black ball pen only to mark the answer on the OMR sheet.
      • The Question Booklet shall have 120 objective-type questions, each carrying one mark. The maximum mark allotted to the Entrance Test is 120. An  OMR Sheet/Answer Sheet shall be provided for answering the questions.

    • Paper I will consist of Objective Type Multiple Choice questions only. Based on the marks scored in the Paper-I, i.e., Computer-Based Examination, candidates will be shortlisted, category-wise, to appear in Paper-II (Descriptive Paper). 
    • There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Paper I. Candidates are, therefore, advised to keep this in mind while answering the questions.
    • Marks scored by the candidates in the Computer-Based Examination, if conducted in multiple shifts, will be normalized.

    Indicative Syllabus:

    Paper-I (Computer-Based Examination): The questions will be designed to test the candidates’ understanding of the languages and literature, correct use of words, phrases,  and idioms, and ability to write the languages correctly, precisely, and effectively. The questions will be at degree level.

    Paper-II (Translation and Essay): This paper will contain two passages for translation – one passage for translation from Hindi to English and one passage for translation from English to Hindi, and an Essay each in Hindi and English, to test the candidates’ translation skills and their ability to write as well as comprehend the two languages correctly, precisely, and effectively. The level of the paper will be consistent with the educational qualifications prescribed.

    Minimum qualifying marks in the Computer-Based Examination are as follows:-

    1. UR: 30%
    2. OBC/EWS: 25%
    3. All Other Categories: 20%

    Skill Test in Stenography:

    The candidates who are shortlisted in the Computer-Based Examination will be required to appear in the Skill Test for Stenography. The candidates will be given one dictation for 10 minutes in English or Hindi at the speed of 100 words per minute (w.p.m.) for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and 80 w.p.m. for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘D’. The matter will have to be transcribed on a computer. The transcription time is as follows:

    Post: Statistical Investigator Grade-II:

    Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects from a recognized University or Institute. The candidates should have studied the subject of Statistics at Degree Level in Part-I, Part-II, and Part-III, or in all the six semesters of a three-year degree course, and not simply a paper in any part of the Degree or six semesters at degree level.

    Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.

    Note: The candidates who have appeared in their final year of their graduation can also apply; however, they must possess the Essential qualification as on 01-08-2025.

    • Step 1: Visit the official website of SSC, SSC.GOV.IN.
    • Step 2: The SSC homepage will appear, where you can enter your login credentials, solve the captcha, and log in.
    • Step 3: After you’re logged in, you can move forward to the Apply Now button- SSC CGL 2025, under the exam tab.
    • Step 4: Go to the SSC CGL 2025 Exam tab and click on the Apply Now button.
    • Step 5:  After this, you’ll be led to the SSC CGL 2025 Exam Application Form, where you can fill in all the required documents and details, and choose your exam center.
    • Step 6: Make sure the given details and documents are relevant and correct before submission. After the final submission, SSC will not let you change the details.

    Important Dates of IGNOU July 2025 Admission Form – Apply Online

    • Online Apply Start Date: 07 June 2025
    • Submitted the Application Form Last Date: 15 July 2025

    Registration Fee, Cancellation of Admission, and Refund of Fee

    1. The Registration Fee is non-refundable.
    2. The fee paid shall be refunded before confirmation of admission.
    3. An amount equivalent to 15% of the programme fee, subject to a ceiling of Rs. 2,000/-, will be deducted from the fee paid in case the cancellation request is received after the confirmation of admission.
    4. In case a student has opted for a soft copy of the study material, the fee paid will be refunded after deducting the Registration fee only.
    5. If a cancellation request is received from a student who has availed fee exemption and has paid only the Registration fee and Development fee, only the Development fee will be refunded.
    6. No Refund of the fee will be admissible after 60 days of the closing date of the admissions.

    Eligibility Criteria of IGNOU July 2025 Admission Form – Apply Online

    Undergraduate (UG) Courses

    • Minimum Qualification: 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board.
    • Age Limit: No upper age limit.

    Postgraduate (PG) Courses

    • Minimum Qualification: Graduation in the relevant stream from a recognized university.

    • Age Limit: No upper age limit.

    Diploma & PG Diploma Courses

    • Minimum Qualification: 10+2 or Graduation, depending on the program.

    Instructions to Fill the Application Form Online

    1. If you are a first-time applicant, you are advised to click the available programme tab on the homepage of the Online Admission System and select the desired programme, and carefully read the details of the programme, including eligibility criteria, fee details, duration, etc.
    2. You are also requested to download the Common Prospectus and read carefully the Rules of the University as mentioned in the Common Prospectus. 
      1. Click on the button NEW REGISTRATION that appears in the applicant login area and fill in the required registration details.
      2. Remember, while choosing your User Name, it must be between 8 to 16 characters.
      3. While choosing your password, it must be alphanumeric and between 8 to 16 characters long.
      4. After filling in the mandatory information, click the “SUBMIT” button.
        1. Your username will be instantly sent to you via email and SMS.
    3. Remember your Username and Password for subsequent login.
    4. If you have already registered, i.e, you are an existing user, click the “LOGIN” button.
