    Instances for providing incorrect information and/or process violation by a candidate detected at any stage of the selection process will lead to disqualification of the candidate from the selection process and he/she will not be allowed to appear in any of the Common Recruitment Processes in the future.     Passed Three years of Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile / Computer Science / Instrumentation Technology / Information Technology) from a Government Polytechnic institute with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in diploma course (or in Intermediate/Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Diploma Course).

    OR

    Passed Two years of Vocational courses with non-vocational subjects viz. Physics and Mathematics from State Education Boards / Councils which are listed in COBSE with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in the vocational course (or in Intermediate / Matriculation, if English is not a subject in the vocational course).

    Other than Science Subjects

    Passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent Examination in any stream/subjects approved by Central / State Education Boards listed as COBSE member with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.

    OR

    Passed two years’ vocational course from Education Boards listed as COBSE member with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in the vocational course (or in Intermediate / Matriculation if English is not a subject in Vocational Course).

    Mandatory Medical Standards

    General Medical Standards for AGNIVEER VAYU are as follows:-

    Height:

    (i) For Male candidates: Minimum acceptable height is 152.5 cm.
    (ii) For Female candidates: Minimum acceptable height is 152 cm. For candidates belonging to the east or hilly regions of Uttarakhand, a lower minimum height of 147 cm will be accepted. In the case of candidates from Lakshadweep, the minimum height will be 150 cm.

    Chest: For Male and Female candidates: The chest wall should be well proportioned with a minimum range of expansion of 05 cm.

    Hearing: The candidate should have normal hearing i.e. able to hear forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters by each ear separately.

    Dental: Should have healthy gums, a good set of teeth, and a minimum of 14 dental points.

    Physical Fitness Test (PFT)

    Names of the shortlisted candidates, who qualify for the online test, shall be displayed on the CASB Web Portal https://agnipathvayu.cdac.in and on a stipulated date shall be called at designated ASC for Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and Adaptability Test-II. PFT consists of two parts i.e. PFT-I and PFT-II.

    PFT- I

    • Candidates have to complete 1.6 Kms run as per the following timings to qualify for PFT-II:

    Male: 1.6 Km run to be completed within Seven minutes (07m).

    Female: 1.6 Km run to be completed within Eight minutes (08m).

    PFT- II

    Candidates who qualify for PFT-I to undergo PFT-II after 10 minutes of recuperation time. The sequence of exercises and maximum period for male and female candidates are as follows:-
