Public Notice

The Central Board of Secondary Education will conduct the 19th edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on 07-07-2024 (Sunday). The test will be conducted in twenty languages in 136 cities all over the country. The detailed information Bulletin containing details of the examination, syllabus, languages, eligibility criteria, examination fee, examination cities, and important dates will be available on CTET official website https://ctet.nic.in/ shortly and aspiring candidates are requested to download in information Bulletin from above mentioned website only and read the same carefully before applying.

Aspiring candidates have to apply online only through the CTET websitehttps://ctet.nic.in/. The online application process will start from 07/03/2024. The last date for submitting an online application is 02/04/2024 (11:59 PM).

CTET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

For Primary (Class I-V)

• Code 01: Senior Secondary (or it is equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR
• Code 02:Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- a year Diploma in Elementary Education as per NCTE 2002 Norms OR
• Code 03:Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B. El. Ed) OR
• Code 04:Senior Secondary (or it is equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2 a year Diploma in Education (Special Education) OR
• Code 05:Graduation with 50% Marks and 1 Year B. Ed Examination OR

For Secondary

• Code 01: Bachelor’s Degree and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). OR
• Code 02: Graduation with at least 50% marks and passing or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B. Ed). OR
• Code 03: Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B. Ed), by the NCTE Norms OR
• Code 04: Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- a four-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B. El. Ed). OR
• Code 05: Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year B.A/B. Sc. Ed or B. A. Ed/B. Sc. Ed. OR
• Code 06: Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. / (B. Ed Special Education)
• Code 07: Any candidate having qualified B.Ed. recognized by the NCTE is eligible to appear in TET/CTET.

How to Apply CTET July 2024

• Step 1:Log on to CTET official website https://ctet.nic.in
• Step 2: Go to the link “Apply Online” and open the same.
• Step 3: Fill in the Online Application Form and note down Registration No./Application No.
• Step 4: Upload the latest Scanned Photograph and Signature.
• Step 5: Pay the Examination Fee by debit/credit card and net banking.
• Step 6: Print the Confirmation page for record and future reference.

Important Documents to Upload

• The latest photographs and signatures should be in jpg format.
• The size of the photo image must be greater than 10 kb and less than 100 kb.
• The size of the signature image must be greater than 3 kb and less than 30 kb.
• Image Dimension of photograph should be 3.5 cm(width) * 4.5 cm(Height) only
• Image Dimension of signature should be 3.5 cm(length) * 1.5 cm(Height) only
