Railway NTPC Graduation Level 07/2025 -Exam Date Out for 5,810 Posts

Indian Railways (RRB) has recently released the Railway NTPC Graduation Level 07/2025 – Exam Date Out notification for various Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC) posts. Under this recruitment, several important posts such as Station Master, Goods Guard, Commercial Apprentice, Traffic Assistant, Senior Clerk cum Typist, and Junior Accounts Assistant will be filled. The selection process will consist of two Computer-Based Tests (CBT 1 and CBT 2), followed by Document Verification and a Medical Examination.

Eligible candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised university. The minimum age limit is 18 years, while the maximum age limit is 33 years, with age relaxation applicable as per government norms. Applications for the NTPC Graduate Level Recruitment will be accepted only through the online mode via the official website of the Indian Railways.

Application Fee for Railway NTPC Graduate Level Recruitment 2025-26

Candidates will have to pay the prescribed fee as per their community/category, detailed below:-

• General/EWS Candidates: Rs. 500/- (Rs. 400/- Refund, appearing in the 1st stage СВТ.)
• OBC Candidates: Rs. 500/- (Rs. 400/- Refund, appearing in the 1st stage СВТ.)
• SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, PwBD, Female, Transgender, Minorities, EBC: Rs. 250/- (Rs. 250/- Refund, Appearing in the 1st Stage CBT)

Payment Mode: ONLINE fee payment only through internet banking, debit/credit cards, or UPI will be accepted. All applicable service charges shall be borne by the candidate. The fee can be paid by the candidates only through the online mode. There will be no option to pay the fee through any other mode. Applications received without the prescribed fee shall not be considered and will be summarily rejected. No representation against such rejection will be entertained.

Education Qualification for Railway NTPC Graduation Level 07/2025 -Exam Date Out

Chief Commercial Cum Ticket Supervisor: Degree from a recognised University or its equivalent.

Station Master: Degree from a recognised University or its equivalent.

Goods Train Manager: Degree from a recognised University or its equivalent.

Junior Accounts Assistant Cum Typist: Degree from a recognised University or its equivalent. Typing proficiency in English / Hindi on a Computer is essential.

Senior Clerk cum Typist: Degree from a recognised University or its equivalent. Typing proficiency in English / Hindi on a Computer is essential.

Traffic Assistant: Degree from a recognised University or its equivalent.

Selection Process

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) conducts the NTPC Graduate Level Exam to recruit candidates for various non-technical (NTPC) posts like Station Master, Goods Guard, Commercial Apprentice, Senior Clerk, Traffic Assistant, and Junior Accounts Assistant. The selection process consists of five main stages, which are explained below:-

01. Computer-Based Test (CBT – Stage 1)

• This is the preliminary exam common to all posts.
• It is an objective type (MCQs) and includes:
  • General Awareness
  • Mathematics General
  • Intelligence & Reasoning
• Total Questions: 100
• Duration: 90 minutes
• Negative Marking: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

02. Computer-Based Test (CBT – Stage 2)

• Only qualified candidates from CBT 1 appear in CBT 2.
• It has a higher difficulty level and more weightage in the final selection.
• Subjects remain the same, but the question count increases:
  • General Awareness – 50
  • Mathematics – 35
  • General Intelligence & Reasoning – 35
• Total Questions: 120
• Duration: 90 minutes

03. Typing Skill Test / Computer Aptitude Test (as applicable)

• For Clerk / Typist posts → Typing Skill Test
  • Must type 30 wpm (English) or 25 wpm (Hindi)
• For Station Master / Traffic Assistant → Computer Aptitude Test (CBAT)
  • No negative marking in CBAT.
  • Must qualify each test battery separately.

04. Document Verification (DV)

• Candidates who clear the required tests are called for Document Verification based on merit.

05. Medical Examination

Final Merit List.

• The final selection is made based on marks obtained in CBT 2 and CBAT / Typing Test, followed by successful completion of document verification and medical test.
