Education Qualification
A candidate who has completed 7 years of practice as of the last date of receipt of applications and who declares appearance in at least 24 cases per year in the last 3 years will be eligible.

Selection Process
Candidates will be chosen for the District Judge positions at the Patna High Court through an interview, written exam, and screening process. The weighting for the theory paper will be 80% percent, while the viva voce will be 20% percent. Only candidates who pass the written exam with a minimum of 45% of the possible points will be invited to an interview.
