NEET UG 2026 Admission Online Form -Notification Out, Apply Online

National Testing Agency (NTA) is inviting online Applications for NEET UG 2026 Admission Online Form NEET (UG) – 2026 for admission to the undergraduate medical courses in all medical institutions in India. MNS (Military Nursing Service) aspirants seeking admission to B.Sc. Nursing Courses being conducted at Armed Forces Medical Service Hospitals for the year 2026 are required to qualify for NEET (UG). The NEBI (UG) score will be used for selection to the four-year B.Sc. Nursing course.

As per Section 14 of the National Medical Commission Act, 2OL9, the NEET (UG) has to be conducted as a common and uniform National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET (UG)) for admission to undergraduate medical education in all medical institutions. The NEEI (UG)-2O26 scores and merit list will also apply for admissions to BDS and BVSc & AH courses as follows, in accordance with the rules governed by respective regulatory bodies.

Similarly, as per Section 14 of the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine Act, 2O2O, there shall be a uniform NEET (UG) for admission to undergraduate courses in each of the disciplines i.e,. BAMS, BITMS, and BSMS courses of the Indian System of Medicine in all Medical Institutions governed under this Act. NEET (UG) shall also apply to admission to the BHMS course under the National Commission for Homeopathy.

The exam will be held on 03rd May 2026, and the duration of the examination will be 180 minutes (03 hours) from 02:00 PM to 05:00 PM (IST).

Exam Pattern of NEET UG 2026 Admission Online Form

Important Points to Note: To answer a question, the candidates need to choose one option corresponding to the correct answer or the most appropriate answer. Marking will be done as per the following criteria:

1. Correct answer or the most appropriate answer: Four marks (+4).
2. Any incorrect option marked will be given minus one mark (-1).
3. Unanswered: No mark (0).
   

Mode of Examination

Candidates are hereby informed that NEET (UG) – 2026 will be Single day single exam in PEN and PAPER mode, as was conducted last year, 2026.

Duration of Test

The duration of the test would be three (03) hours. Compensatory time of one hour for examination of three hours (03:00 hrs) duration for PwBD Candidate [having a physical limitation to write] will be given, whether such candidate uses the facility of Scribe or not

Medium of the Question Papers

Drawing from the National Education Policy (NEP), the NEET (UG) -2026 is being conducted in English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
