Entrance Test Fee

• General/BC/EBC Candidates: Rs. 3000/-
• SC/ST/Disabled/Women/EWS Category Candidates: Rs. 2000/-
• Late Fine: Rs. 500/-

Payment Mode: The fee is to be paid online only. It will not be accepted in any other form, and no postal application will be accepted. The fee will be paid through the Online Payment Gateway.

Education Qualification

• A candidate seeking admission to the Ph.D. The program should have a Master’s Degree with at least 55% Marks in aggregate up to or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7-point scale (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in the subject/ in allied subject from recognized University.
• A relaxation of 5% of marks i.e. from 55% to 50% or an equivalent relaxation of grade may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/BC/EBC/Differently-abled categories of candidates.
• Candidates may apply for PAT-2023, who passed the Master’s degree up to academic Session 2021-23.

Pattern of Test

Ph.D Admission Test (PAT-2023) will consist of two papers of 100 marks each.

Paper-I: Shall also consist of 50 multiple choice questions on qualitative teaching and research aptitude.

Paper-II: Shall also consist of 50 multiple choice questions from the Core Course/Paper-01 to Core Course/Paper-14 of the PG Subject/Program concerned.

Test of both the papers will be held in a single sitting of two hours and forty-five minutes, i.e. from 11:00 AM to 01:45 PM. Question booklet along with OMR sheet of Paper-I. After that, a question booklet of Paper II will be issued to them. They will have to submit the OMR sheet of Paper-II on completion of another one hour and fifteen minutes (i.e. at 01:45 PM)

Note: There is no negative marking on any of the papers.

How to Apply

Candidates are required to visit the Website: www.lnmupat.in or the link available on the University Website www.lnmu.ac.in and follow the PAT-2023 process to fill up the Admission Application Form. Duty filed-up and completed forms can be submitted online along with necessary supporting documents and requisite Test Fee from 28.01.2025 or per the schedule. Application Form incomplete in any respect will be rejected.
