Joint CSIR – UGC NET December 2025 Online Form: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the Joint CSIR UGC NET Examination December 2025, which is a test to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for ‘award of Junior Research Fellowship and appointment as Assistant Professor’, ‘appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to Ph.D.’ and ‘admission to Ph.D.

JRF: Not more than 30 years as on the 1st day of the month in which the examination is concluded, i.e., December 2025. For Assistant Professor: There is no upper age limit in applying for the Joint CSIR UGC-NET for Assistant Professor. For Admission to PhD: There is no upper age limit in applying for the Joint CSIR-UGC-NET for Admission to PhD.

• OBC/EWS Candidates: Rs. 600/-
• SC/ST/PwD/3^rd Gender Candidates: Rs. 325/-

• An applicant can apply for payment through net banking/debit/credit card/UPI.
• Service charges of the concerned Bank/ Payment Gateway Integrator, as applicable.

Eligible Criteria of Joint CSIR – UGC NET December 2025 Online Form

Age Limit:

• Junior Research Fellowship (JRF): Not more than 30 years as on the 1st day of the month in which the examination is concluded, i.e., December 2025.
• Assistant Professor: Assistant Professor: There is no upper age limit in applying for the Joint CSIR UGC-NET for Assistant Professor.
• Admission to PhD: There is no upper age limit in applying for the Joint CSIR-UGC-NET for Admission to PhD.

Education Qualification

• Master’s Degree or Equivalent with a minimum of 55% Marks (SC/ST/PwD/3rd Gender 50% Marks)

How to Apply for the Joint CSIR – UGC NET December 2025 Online Form

• Step 1: Visit the Official Website 
• Step2: Click the Registration Link and Register.
• Step 3: Then Click the Login Link and Fill the Application Form Carefully.
• Step 4: Pay Application Fee Online.
• Step 5: Finally, Submit their Application Form.

Instructions for filling the Online Application Form:

• Download the Information Bulletin and read the same carefully regarding eligibility and procedure/documentation required for filling out the Online Application Form.
• Follow the steps given below to Apply Online:
  • Step-1: Register for Online Form submission using a unique Email ID and Mobile No.
  • Step 2: Fill in the Online Application Form and note down the system-generated Application No. Upload legible scanned images of:
    1. a recent photograph (in a jpg file, size 10Kb – 200Kb), either in color or black & whit, with 80% face (without mask) visible, including ears against a white background;
    2. candidate’s signature (in jpg file size: 4kb – 30kb)
    3. Duly verified Result Awaited Attestation Form (in PDF format, file size: 50KB to 500KB),
    4. Category Certificate, if applicable (SC/ ST/ OBC/EWS etc.) (in PDF format, file size: 50KB to 300KB) &
    5. PwD Certificate, if applicable (in PDF format, file size: 50KB to 300KB).
  • Step-3: Pay the prescribed fee through Net Banking / Debit Card / Credit Card and UPI, and keep proof of fee paid for future reference.
