Eligible Criteria of CSIR UGC NET December 2024 Online Form

Age Limit:

• Junior Research Fellowship (JRF): Not more than 30 years as on the 1st day of the month in which the examination is concluded i.e. February 2025.
• Assistant Professor/Ph.D: Npo Upper Age Limit

Education Qualification

• Master’s Degree or Equivalent with a minimum of 55% Marks (SC/ST/PwD/3rd Gender 50% Marks)

Instructions for filling Online Application Form:

• Download the Information Bulletin and read the same carefully regarding eligibility and procedure/documentation required for filling out the Online Application Form.
• Follow the steps given below to Apply Online:
  • Step-1: Register for Online Form submission using a unique Email ID and Mobile No.
  • Step-2: Fill in the Online Application Form and note down the system-generated Application No. Upload legible scanned images of:
    1. a recent photograph (in a jpg file, size 10Kb – 200Kb) either in color or black & white with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against a white background;
    2. candidate’s signature (in jpg file size: 4kb – 30kb)
    3. Duly verified Result Awaited Attestation Form (in PDF format file size: 50KB to 500KB),
    4. Category Certificate, if applicable (SC/ ST/ OBC/EWS etc.) (in PDF format file size: 50KB to 300KB) &
    5. PwD Certificate, if applicable (in PDF format file size: 50KB to 300KB).
  • Step-3: Pay the prescribed fee through Net Banking / Debit Card / Credit Card and UPI, and keep proof of fee paid for future reference.
