BSF Tradesman Constable Recruitment 2025: Online applications are invited from MALE & FEMALE Indian Citizens for filling up 3588* vacancies (3406 Vacancies for Male candidates and 182 Vacancies for Female candidates) for the post of Constable (Tradesman) Exam 2024-25 in Border Security Force in the pay Matrix Level-3, Pay scale Rs.21,700-69,100/- of 7th CPC (Revised Pay Structure) and other allowances as admissible to Central Govt. employees from time to time. In addition, Ration allowance, Medical Assistance, free accommodation, and free leave pass are granted, which are admissible to BSF employees.

Age Limit as on Closing Date: Apply Online
Minimum Age: 18 years
Maximum Age: 25 years
Age Relaxation: As per the Rules (Read the official notification)
Between 18 to 25 years as on the closing date of online applications. Relaxable in respect of the candidates for SC/ ST/ OBC and other special categories of personnel, as per the instructions issued by the Central Government from time to time.

Education Qualification
(01). For trades of Constable(Carpenter), Constable (Plumber), Constable (Painter), Constable (Electrician), Constable(Pump Operator), Constable (Draughtsman), Constable (Upholsterer):
(a) Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board;
(b) i) Two-year certificate course from the Industrial Training Institute in the trade or a similar trade;
Or ii) One-year certificate course from an Industrial Training Institute or Government-affiliated Vocational Institute with at least one year of experience in the trade;
(2) For trades of Constable(Cobbler), Constable(Washerman), Constable (Barber), and Constable(Khoji/Syce): Constable (Tailor), Constable(Sweeper):
(a) Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board; (b) Must be proficient in the respective trade.
(c) Must qualify for the trade test in the respective trade conducted by the recruitment board.
(3) For the trades of Constable(Cook), Constable(Water Carrier), Constable(Waiter):
(a) Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board;
(b) National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) level-1 Course in food production or Kitchen from National Skill Development Corporation or the Institutes recognized by National Skill Development Corporation.

Pay Scale & Selection Process
Pay Scale: Pay Matrix Level-3, Pay scale Rs. 21,700-69,100/- and other allowances
Selection Process: The candidates who qualify all the above stages, i.e., PST, PET, Documentation, Trade Test, and Written test, will be put through a Detailed Medical Examination (DME), which will be carried out by the Medical Board of Officers to assess their physical & medical fitness.
