Bihar State Health Society CHO Recruitment 2024 Cancel: State Health Society, Bihar invites online applications from candidates for the post of ‘Community Health Officer’ (on a contractual basis) under the National Health Mission. This post is meant to lead the primary care provider team consisting of female health workers, male health workers, ASHA’s, etc at Health Sub-Ceritres- Health & Wellness Centres (HSC- HWCs) for implementation of Public health programs, enable Comprehensive Primary Health Care service delivery, including disease prevention and health promotion. All eligible/ interested candidates can apply online application form between 01 April 2024 to 30 April 2024.
Their admission at all the stages of the examination will be purely provisional subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions. Commission verifies eligibility conditions concerning original documents only after the candidate has qualified for the Personality Test. B.Sc. (Nursing) with successful completion of six months’ integrated curriculum of Certificate in Community Health (CCH) from an Indian Nursing Council/ State Nursing Council recognized institute or university from the academic year 2020 onwards**

Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) with successful completion of six months’ Integrated curriculum of Certificate Course in Community Health (CCH) from an Indian Nursing Council State Nursing Council recognized institute or university from the academic year 2020 onwards.

Pay Scale & Selection Process
Pay Scale: Each Community Health Officer (CHO) is entitled to a remuneration (honorarium) of Rs. 40,000/- per month. Of this Rs 32,000/- per month is admissible as fixed remuneration and the remaining Rs.8.000/- per month is to be paid as Performance Linked Payment, calculated based on various decided health indices.
