Indian Coast Guard CGEPT – 01/2026 & 02/2026 Batch Recruitment 2025: Online applications are invited from MALE INDIAN CITIZENS possessing educational qualifications and age as prescribed below, for recruitment to the posts of Navik (General Duty), Navik (Domestic Branch) & Yantriks in the Indian Coast Guard, an Armed Force of the Union.

Application Fee Indian Coast Guard CGEPT – 01/2026 & 02/2026 Batch Recruitment 2025

• General (UR)/EWS Candidates: Rs. 300/-
• OBC Candidates: Rs. 300/-
• SC/ST Candidates: Rs. 00/-

Payment Mode: Pay the application fee through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI fee mode.

Age limit

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 22 years
  • Nvk(GD) for 01/26 & 02/26 batch: Candidate should be born between 01 Aug 2004 to 01 Aug 2008.
    
  • Yantrik for 01/26 batch: Candidate should be born between 01 Mar 2004 to 01 Mar 2008.
  • Nvk(DB) for 02/26 batch: Candidate should be born between 01 Aug 2004 to 01 Aug 2008.

 Age Relaxation: Upper age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC (non-creamy) candidates is applicable if, posts are reserved for them.

Education Qualification

Navik (General Duty):- Class 12th passed with Maths and Physics from an education board recognized by the Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).

Navik (Domestic Branch):- Class 10th passed from an education board recognized by the Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).

Yantrik:- Class 10th passed from an education board recognized by the Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE) and Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical / Electronics/ Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering of duration 03 or 04 years approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). OR

Class 10th & Class 12th passed from an education board recognized by the Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE), AND Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical / Electronics/ Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering of duration 02 or 03 years approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).

Pay Scale:

• For Navik GD: Rs. 21,700/- + other allowance
• For Yantrik: Rs. 29,200/-

• Candidates are to log in to https://joinindiancoastguard.cdac.in/cgept/ and follow the instructions for registering themselves with their email ID/mobile number. The candidates are to remember their registered email ID and mobile number, as the same will be encrypted in the application form.

• The candidate can apply for only one post, viz. either Navik (DB) or Navik (GD) in one cycle.

Important Documents for Upload

• A passport-size recent colour photograph (should not be older than three months before the date of opening of the application)
• Candidate’s scanned signature image.
• Live Image Capture during Registration.
• Date of Birth proof (Class 10th marksheet OR Birth Certificate).
• Identity proof (Aadhar Card OR PAN Card OR Voter ID card, Driving License, OR Passport).
• A candidate applying for the post of Yantriks is required to upload a domicile certificate (Niwash Praman Patra)
