South Eastern Railway Recruitment 2023: RRC South Eastern Railway (RRC SER) Online applications are invited from eligible candidates who are Indian nationals for engagement/training as Act Apprentices under the Apprentices Act 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules, 1992, as amended from time to time, in Workshops and other establishments of South Eastern Railway. Qualified candidates are scheduled to be selected for a total of 1785 posts.

- The upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years in the case of SC/ST candidates, 3 years in the case of OBC candidates and 10 years for Physically Handicapped candidates.

Educational Qualification
Matriculation (Matriculate or 10th class in 10+2 examination system) from a recognized Board with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (excluding additional subjects) and an ITI Pass certificate (in the trade in which Apprenticeship is to be done) granted by the NCVT/SCVT.

In this recruitment of RRC SER, applications have been invited for 1785 posts. These are different for different divisions/posts. In this vacancy, candidates will be selected for trades like Fitter, Turner, Electrician, Welder, Mechanic (Diesel), Machinist, Painter, Refrigerator and, AC Mechanic etc

Selection Process
Selection will be based on a merit list prepared (Trade-wise) for all the candidates who applied against the notification in respective trades. The merit list in each trade will be prepared with the percentage of marks obtained in Matriculation with a minimum 50% (aggregate) marks.
For calculation on percentage of matriculation, marks obtained by the candidates in all subjects will be reckoned and not based on marks of any subject or group of subjects.
