JNV Selection Test for admission to Class-VI in JNVs for the academic session 2023-24 will be held On Saturday, 29th April 2023 at 11.30 A.M.
Application Fee
- No application fee for all category candidates.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who are bonafide residents of the district and studying in class V in the academic session 2022-23 in Govt. a recognized school in the same district where JNV is functioning and to which they are seeking admission.
Age limit
- Students born between 01.05.2011 to 30.04.2013 (Both dates inclusive).
Composition of the Test
The selection test will be of two-hour duration from 11:30 am to 01:30 pm and will have 3 sections with only objective-type questions. There are 80 questions in all for 100 marks.

A single test booklet comprising all three sections will be given to each candidate. Additional time of 40 minutes will be allowed for “Divyang Students” (Differently-abled Students)

Reservation
- At least 75% of Seats in a district will be filled by candidates from rural areas.
- Reservation for SC, ST, OBC, and Divyang candidates as per Govt. Norms.
- A minimum of 1/3 of the seats are reserved for girl students.

- Parent’s signature. (Size of the signature should be between 10-100 kb.)
- Candidate’s photograph. (Size of the image should be between 10-100 kb.)
- Certificate signed by parent & candidate and verified by Headmaster. (Size of the image should be between 50-300 kb.)
- Residence Certificate of the parent Issued by a competent Government Authority if the candidate does not possess Aadhaar Number
