Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) has invited applications for the 800 vacancies of Field Engineer and Field Supervisor. The field Engineer/Field Supervisor shall submit the Police Verification Report / Employee Verification Report regarding Character & Antecedents from the police station of their permanent home address. If due for any reason, they are not able to submit the aforesaid document at the time of joining, they shall be provisionally allowed to join on the basis of a character certificate & attestation form subject to the condition that he/she shall submit the verification report within 3 months, failing which his/her engagement as Field Engineer/Field supervisor shall automatically be terminated without assignment of any reason/notice whatsoever.

- Maximum Age: 29 years (Candidates should not have been born before 11.12.1993 or after 11.12.2004)

PGCIL Education Qualification
- Field Engineer: Must have completed full-time BE or B.Tech in relevant discipline. General, OBC (NCL), EWS must have passed Bachelor’s degree with at least 55% marks. While there is no condition of minimum marks for SC, ST, and Divyang. They just have to pass. Along with this, one year’s of experience in related work is also necessary.
- field supervisor: For the Field Supervisor post, candidates must have a full-time Diploma in a relevant discipline. General, OBC (NCL), EWS must have passed graduation with at least 55% marks. While there is no condition of minimum marks for SC, ST, and Divyang. They just have to pass. Along with this, one year’s of experience in related work is also necessary.

Selection Process
- i.) Technical Knowledge Test
- ii.) Aptitude Test
- iii.) Interview
- Candidates will be selected for these vacancies on the basis of the Technical Knowledge Test and Aptitude Test. There will be 50 questions in the first test from the area related to the syllabus of the Engineering Degree or Diploma. In the second paper, 25 questions will come from Logical Reasoning, Data Interpretation, Comprehension, Vocabulary, Data Sufficiency, and Numerical Ability. The merit will be drawn purely on the basis of performance in the Interview.

- Field Engineer: Pay Band 30000-3%–1,20,000/- Starting Basic Salary 30,000/-+Industrial DA+HRA
- Field Supervisor: Pay Band 23,000-3%-1,05,000/- with Basic Pay s 23,000/- +Industrial DA+HRA
